Wild Edibles- Red Clover- Plant Protein!

Red Clover (Trifolium Pratense) is a wild edible that is a nutritional powerhouse! It contains many vitamins and nutrients, including protein! (The leaves and flowers have a mild sweetness to them, and they taste similar to a freshly picked green bean.) In this episode, I demonstrate how to: properly identify, harvest, and eat this wonderful plant.

Fritter batter recipe:
– 1 Cup Flour
– 1 Tspn baking powder
– 2 Tbsp vanilla extract
– 1 Egg
– ¼ Cup melted butter
– ¾ Cup milk
