As a consumer, if you know how to find way to reduce your electric usage and cut down the bill, you can save a good lump-sum of money, which the money can be used for other necessities.

But, DIY a system can be difficult for those who don't have the knowledge in electric field. The easiest way for those who don't know how to fix a solar or wind power system by themselves is to pay the money to a related commercial company to do the job; of course you have to pay the expensive cost.

Moreover, many of residential wind/solar power systems can be built with the cost under $200. You will save a lot of money by doing it yourself than asking the commercial company to do it for you.

It may sound complicated and confusing when the idea of building your own wind and solar power system comes to your mind. But, if you manage to get a good step-by-step guide on DIY a power system, it is simple & easy.
